KAYAKING GEAR

Kayaking Shoes

Footwear

These will need to be comfortable, and slim fitting as you will need to be able to slip in and out of the kayak with them on. Neoprene socks and booties are great in cold water, and sneakers, water shoes or closed toe sandals are good in warm conditions. The shoe needs to protect your feet from rubbing, and keeps rocks and sand out. Footwear is important if you find yourself in a situation where you have to walk.
