Socks
A sock should keep your foot warm and cover your feet and lower leg, now days you can even get socks that are properly fitted to each foot (a separate one for left and right).
Types
• Regular Socks - standard socks which come part way up the shin.
• Socklets - only come as high as the ankle bone and fit inside the trainer.
• Anti-Blister Socks - have two layers of material to prevent rubbing.
• Compression socks - hold the muscles of the calf tight and help increase circulation and reduce injury.
• Coolmax socks - maybe even wool, which is great for cooler days. Contrary to popular belief, the wools these days are comfortable and great for sports. Get ones that come up to your ankle, too. You don't want the back of your shoe to rub away the skin on your heel.
