Ball

It can be made up of 2 or 4 pieces. The inside is made of cork with 2 halves of leather wrapped around the outside as a casing.
The leather is stitched together forming a steam. Seam bowlers try to get this part of the ball to hit the pitch so it is hard to hit.
The leather is polished and it is the shine that can make a ball swing through the air.
The white ball is for one day cricket as it’s easier to see in the flood lights
