Ball
Despite the name the balls used are not especially soft. The size of the ball varies according to the playing level - international level the circumference are 30cm and 28cm, some have raised seams and others don’t.
The ball is often covered in 2 pieces of white leather and sewn together with red thread. It is now common to see yellow balls though as they are very visible.
Some countries play with a 16inch ball, this larger ball is generally softer, and when it’s used fielders don’t wear gloves.
